Do your homework. Assemble your team. Think ahead. Play the long game. Ready, set, go!

# 3 Let  go.

You can’t waste time and energy mooning about what might have been if you had made a different decision.

You can do anything, but you can’t do everything.

#4  Appearances matter – and remember to smile

If you are serious about being seen as a mover and shaker appearances matter.

Yes, people are watching. Smile and enjoy the fact that you have the ability to make a difference – one you’ll likely remember forever

#5 Nothing is black or white

Decisions are complex. Life is never either/or.

Nothing is ever straightforward as it appears. Have contingencies in place and You’ll be successful.

# 6 Quitting is leading too

Abandoning a failed idea, task or relationship is a decision every leader has to make.

Fail forwards, but don’t give up.

# 7 Share & Help others

Make a difference in the world. Pay it forwards. Sure, you are only one, but you are ONE.

You cannot do everything, but you can do something. Start today.

#8 Be Humble [Be Hungry]

How? Don’t take criticism personally. Talk about your route to success, not the success itself.

Rarely is excellence something you accomplish by yourself
